This is a cause for concern if you always or nearly-always ejaculate within one minute of penetration, you are unable to delay ejaculation during sex nearly all the time, and/or you try to avoid sexual intimacy because of this condition.

Causes of PE

Some of the most common causes of PE are:

Hormonal imbalance | physical injury | early sexual experiences | sexual abuse| depression performance anxiety | stress
relationship/marriage problems | erectile dysfunction | substance abuse

Premature Ejaculation Treatments Available at Mobility Spine and Sports

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) for PE

Inadequate production of testosterone can be a cause of premature ejaculation. Without adequate testosterone, a man’s sex drive may act erratically affecting his ability to perform in bed.

Mobility Spine and Sports test patients in our office for testosterone levels and based on the results, TRT may be prescribed. TRT can be administered through bi-weekly injections, a patch placed on the body, or oral tablets.

When appropriate, Mobility Spine and Sports works with patients suffering from premature ejaculation to prescribe exercises that help strengthen muscles in the pelvic area. Strengthening these muscles can help men better control premature ejaculation.

Shockwave Therapy (LI-ESWT)

This is a revolutionary Treatment! – No Surgery, No Medication, No downtime, Long-Lasting Results. Shockwave therapy uses energy from acoustic waves to trigger a process called neovascularization. When neovascularization occurs, new blood vessels form, which helps improve blood flow to the region. Neovascularization has been typically used to help heart patients, patients with kidney stones, and those with fractures and joint inflammation. Recently, it has been found that shockwave therapy may assist in treating PE.

Topical Creams

Topical anesthetic creams containing numbing agents can help treat premature ejaculation by reducing sensation and delaying climax. If this is an appropriate treatment, Mobility Spine and Sports will work with the patient to find the right topical cream for him.

Bio-Identical Hormone Treatment

Hormones control all the functions of the body, including our reproductive systems. As hormone levels decline with aging, we lose our energy, vitality, health, and longevity. Through a medically-supervised program, we restore your body’s hormones to their youthful levels. This can result in increased sex drive, enhanced sexual performance, better orgasms, and the ability to control ejaculation.
